Things Worth Fighting For


We all should aspire to be our best and true selves. Dreams, goals, and ambitions are remarkable to have. We should want to live our best lives and we should want to help others try and do the same. But how can we achieve this in the face of opposition and adversity? When it comes to succeeding at anything, there’s no being passive about it. It’s not always about what we want but more about what we're willing to do to make it possible. There will come a time when we will have to fight for what we want in life.


It is important to know what we want in life, but just knowing what we want is not enough to achieve it. Furthermore, wanting something bad enough does not entitle us to it. What are you willing to do to get it? What are you willing to do to keep it? What are you willing to give up?


Success requires action and our actions are our fight. What I mean by “fight,” is a fighting mindset; a mindset where victory is the only option you will accept. I am speaking about a mindset where you are insistently driven by your goals, dreams, ambitions, and motivations. A mindset where you are committed to the belief that victory can and therefore will be achieved. A mindset driven by a call to action, a strong will and determination to win no matter the odds or die trying. Have you ever felt this way? What Are Some Things Worth Fighting For?

Happiness - Do you agree that we are the steward of our own happiness? If yes, then you should also agree that we then own the responsibility in maintaining our own happy life. If happiness is worth having, then happiness is worth fighting for.


Health – For some of us, our health may not be what we would would like it to be. For others, we might find our health in complete shambles. While for others, we may be in perfect good health. Whichever the case, what we all can agree on is that maintaining a healthy life requires long term commitment and hard work. This is true for any and everyone. If we plan on being here a good while, we will have to put in the work. We will have to fight!


Love – Love is a beautiful thing that requires a good amount of effort from both partners to maintain over a long period of time; some might say great amount of effort. Both partners must be willing to put in the work. Ultimately, both partners must be willing to fight for the love and relationship they both say that they want.
